We took a end-of-summer vacation to Wisconsin Dells last weekend for a "last hurrah" before school started and we had to say goodbye to summer. Our mini-vacation started early Friday morning when we left the house bright and early to get to the Dells for our 11 am departure on the BigFoot Ziplines!
~~~
Here is me and the kids--all harnessed up. I was scared to death and the rest of the family was excited and couldn't wait to hit the ziplines!
We did six lines and it took a total of about 3 hours. Through the trees, over water--it was breathtaking!
~~~Abz had a blast riding the lines...
~~~Andrew coming in fast to the end, where Peter, one of our tour guides, waits to "catch" him.
~~~Austin had no fear flying over the water!
~~~Jamie was the official photographer during our excursion. He had a blast watching everyone zoom down the lines! He also had fun on the lines himself--taking running jumps, falling off the tower backwards, and hanging from the line upside down!
(Which, by the way, we ALL did those "tricks"--yep! Even Abz and I!)
~~~Here is Austin flipping upside down while on the line!
(Clicking on the picture will enlarge it a bit--we couldn't bring our "good" camera on the lines, so we used our old digital and our camera phones...)
~~~Abz hanging in the middle of nowhere!
~~~The Klimie Kids on top of one of the towers...

I like the pictures of the zipliners! This will be fun to do with the boys when they get older!
