Missing Mexico...

I've been wearing my Cuddl Dudds again these last few blustery days.
~~~
I am missing the fabulous week of vacation we had over Christmas...
~~~
Nothing like the feeling of snow sand between your toes!
~~~
Summer, I miss you.
The Camera Thief
My camera was stolen.
---
A crime was committed.
---
The Perpetrator...
 ---
Some victims were willing participants...
 ---
Some victims had that "deer-in-the-headlights" look...
 ---
Some victims wanted nothing to do with the crime in progress...
 ---
Some victims were caught unawares...
 ---
Some victims seemed to ponder their involvement...
 ---
While some "victims" shamelessly posed for the camera...
 ---
The identity of the Perpetrator was discovered when multiple pictures of the Perp's Father were noted on the memory card of the camera...
---
Some of the victims took on a Nixon Pose to proclaim their innocence--"I am not a crook!"
---
And finally, some victims were horribly exploited while pictures of their body parts were taken and the innocent victim was completely unaware...
---
Because the Perpetrator was a minor, she was released into the custody of her parents with a squishy hug, a smooch, and a squeeze of her little muffins!
---
Guard your cameras, people.
BHS Junior Prom 2011~Fountain Oasis~Das Lach Haus, Cumberland, WI
On Saturday, April 2nd, the BHS Junior Class hosted the 2011 prom at the Das Lach Haus in Cumberland, WI, with the theme, "Fountain Oasis".
~~~
This was the first year both Klimie Brothers decided to go to the prom, and, I must say, they both looked stunning in their tuxes!
~~~
Two debonair brothers!
~~~
Austin, once again,escorted his friend, Kaitlyn to the big evening.  She came over to the house for some photos, and the two of them made a very attractive couple...
~~~
Andrew, and his two buddies, Isaiah and Lane, showered and got ready at our house.  Isaiah and Lane's parent's came over to take some pics of these handsome hunks before they left for their night of fun...
~~~
Andrew and Lane...
~~~
Andrew and Isaiah...
~~~
After a minor hair emergency that caused a bit of a delay, the girls joined us at our house for some more photo ops.
~~~
Andrew had the pleasure of having TWO dates for the prom this year.  He escorted both the lovely Elizabeth and the lovely Shayna to dinner and the prom.
~~~
Austin and Kaitlyn went to dinner with Andrew and his friends, as they are all friends and have fun together.
~~~
In an effort to remind me of his "uniqueness", Austin had a few pics taken with his "nerd glasses"--Kaitlyn didn't even bat an eyelash.  I guess she must be used to him by now!
Here is the whole gang before they left our house for dinner...
Embarrassingly, I don't remember the guy in the back row's name in the light blue (he's from another school), so we will just call him "Afton's date".
So, from L to R, Back Row:  Afton's date, Afton, Elizabeth, Kaitlyn, _______,  and Austin.
Middle Row:  Andrew, Lane, and Isaiah
Front Row:  Shayna and Sarah
~~~
When we arrived at the prom to watch the grand march, we enjoyed looking at all of the kids dressed in their finest.  My favorite couple was Austin's friends, Mitch and Kyle, otherwise known as, Meechie and Yeags.  Pay close attention to the beautiful corsages--Meechie made them for him and his date!!!
~~~
I snapped a few quick pics at the prom before Jamie and I gracefully made our exit...
~~~
I am sure the kids had fun, and post prom lock-in was on the agenda for the rest of the night following the prom hosted at BHS.
~~~
Another fun year of prom come and gone.  Perhaps the last year for Austin, unless he comes home from college next year to escort Kaitlyn again???
~~~
My boys are so handsome!!!
:-)
