The 'Raining Suit' Says "MEOW"!
How cute is she?!?
When Allie came to stay overnight at Grandma Pat's house, she brought her Raining Suit--complete with matching rain boots! She was thrilled to find a puddle from the rain the night before that she could try out her new Raining Suit in...

Missing Uncle Woody...
(one of my personal favorites!)
Abby, Woody, and Grandma Pat made up one team.
(Austin is monitoring for cheating...)~~~
Deep in thought...~~~
Jamie, Grandpa Denny, and I made another team.
(Even though I had the two handicaps, our team ended as the VICTORS!)~~~
The boys had their own team (and took second place).~~~
The Cranium Clay was fun to play with--even when you didn't have a Sculpturade!~~~
We had fun seeing Uncle Woody for the week, and we sure wish he and Tia Maite could live in Wisconsin year-around! (hint, hint!)
It is always a good time when Woody is around!Miss you, Uncle!

It's Soccer Season, Baby!
The Barron Bear Soccer Team has already had a scrimmage last Saturday, and their first game last Tuesday. Of course, I took a few pictures to commemorate the day...

Tuesday's game against New Richmond ended with the score rather lop-sided. As I mentioned before, three of our usual starters were missing from the game, but our boys that did show up played hard. The final score need not be mentioned here--it is MY blog, after all! (although I believe there was a 0 and an 8 in there somewhere.) In any event, it was a BEAUTIFUL evening for a soccer game! Austin and Andrew were fortunate to have three extra fans in New Richmond. Grandma Pat, Grandpa Denny, and Uncle Woody were there to watch their first game of the season! Thanks for coming, everyone!

A Day on the Green
Austin at the tee box...
~~~
Poor, uncoordinated me trying like crazy to make contact with that stupid, white ball...
Jamie sending the ball for a ride...
In just over an hour and a half, we completed four holes. No score was kept (thank goodness!), and after that much pain and suffering, we decided to head for home.
This day was a warm-up for me to golf on Friday afternoon with our "gang" of friends. I think it is a safe bet to say that I will be the worst golfer on the course that night! Fortunately, we are playing a Best Ball Scramble, so pray I get put on a team with a stellar golfer--I am going to need it!
