Offensive Player of the Year!

Tonight was the soccer banquet to wrap up the 2008 soccer season. Austin received his first Varsity Letter tonight, as well as being honored with an award for the "Offensive Player of the Year"! Add to that his recognition as being selected as an Honorable Mention All-Conference Player this year, and we are VERY PROUD of him! Way to go, Austin, on an AWESOME soccer season this year!!!

Here is Austin receiving his recognition for "Offensive Player of the Year" from Coach--the plaques are not in yet, so he will get that in a few days.~~~
The Varsity Letter!
The 2008 Barron Boy's Varsity Soccer Team
Congratulations, Austin!!!!!!!!!

Andrew had a game tonight in Bloomer, also. Jamie and I missed his game so we could go to Austin's banquet. Andrew scored 11 points tonight and had 5 assists. Barron won by a score of 58 to 12. Way to go, Bears!! We play Rice Lake next Thursday, though, and they may give us some competition this year. They are the only team in our school-ball league that is also playing in our division in the traveling-ball league, so they are more at our boy's level of play. Should be a good game!

Tomorrow is Friday--YEAH!

Congratulations, Austin, on your awards!

Morgan had a game tonight too. She didn't score as many points as Andrew, but she had a good game. Way to go, Andrew!

Congratulations Austin! You are the first of our grandchildren to win a soccer letter :). Two more years to enjoy the game.

Andrew you and your team continue with their wins and Grandpa and I know you are a major contributing factor.
