The week has finally come to an end! It seems like it has been an unusually LONG week this week--perhaps due to the return of the -15 degree weather???

Austin is having fun right now at the WIAA Boy's State Basketball Tournaments in Madison. He was invited again this year by his friend, David, to go along to watch three days of basketball. They love it! Jamie did see the boys on TV on Thursday afternoon during the Germantown game--they were sitting behind the player's bench! He will come home sometime tomorrow night, and I am sure he will be totally exhausted from a fun weekend with the guys!

Andrew went skiing tonight after school with his friend, Zach's, church group. Several of the "gang" went along to Christie Mountain in Bruce to ski in the -12 degree weather tonight. Now, Andrew, Zach, Neil, and Nick are pulling an all-nighter in the basement hosted by the X-Box...

Abby and Jamie had a "date night" tonight. They went to see Raven's new movie, "College Roadtrip". Abby brought her friend, Bailey, on her date with dad--I don't think he minded too much! After the movie, the girls had plans for a sleep-over at Bailey's house.

I am on call this weekend. I had a brief, but fun "girl's night" at my friend, Diane's, house (her guys are at the State Tournaments with Austin). Then, I got called into work, and spent the remainder of my evening at the hospital... I hope the rest of the weekend isn't very busy!

No recent progress on the house. The porch is on, the tar paper is all covered in Tyvek, and now we are waiting for the siding. I guess it has been too cold to side these last few days. Perhaps next week we will see the contractors again and our house will begin to take shape...
