HIT's (Hillcrest Invitational Tournaments) were held this weekend in Fergus Falls, MN. Austin, Andrew, Abby, and I made the trip on Friday morning thru rain and snow to Fergus to take part in the festivities again this year. We had planned to leave on Thursday night, but due to the horrible snowstorm that rocked the midwest, we stayed home and left late-morning to travel when it was light outside. Jamie had to work, so he was unable to come along. :-(

I tried to take pictures of all of our players, but, as usual, I got too "into" the games, and often forgot to use the camera I was holding in my hands!!!
Once again, our combined families had two teams in the tournaments, Generation Gap I and Generation Gap II. Gap I played 3 games. Their final record was 2 and 1, and they left the tournament with a THIRD PLACE plaque!!!

~~~Generation Gap II finished with a record of 2 and 2 this weekend in the Division 2 bracket. They had some tough competition and played really well! It was a fun weekend of basketball and family, and the kids are already talking about next year's HIT's!

It was a great weekend....keep March 27 - 28, 2009 open...that is when they are planning the next tournament!
Looks like a fun time. Karly said she loved how Abby's T-shirt was cut on the sleeves!
