Today was the Barron Fourth Grade Girl's Volleyball Team's second tournament. We played on our home court right here in Barron! Since we have 23 girls out for volleyball this season, the girls are divided into 3 teams. I happen to be the coach of Abby's team, Barron GOLD.

Grandma Debbie, Grandpa Ken, and Dad were all at Abby's tournament today to watch Abby and her teammates play. Dad was good enough to take some pics of Abby in action.

Most of the teams we are playing in our tournaments are either 4th and 5th grade combination teams, or just 5th grade teams, so we are seeing some pretty stiff competition. Although we didn't have any wins today, our girls are having a lot of fun and learning a lot about the game of volleyball.

"Bump 'em! Set 'em! Spike 'em down! Hit 'em 'till they're on the ground!
GO BARRON GIRLS!"

Yeah, Barron Girls!! Abby, I hope I can watch you play sometime. I will have to get the schedule from your mom.

Abz, you are lucky that you have the opportunity to play volleyball at this young age/grade. I sure hope you are having fun.
