On Tuesday night, the BHS Golden Boys traveled to Baldwin-Woodville for our first round game in the play-offs. Jamie, Squirrel, and I were fortunate to catch a ride with our friends, the Sloans, along with our good friend, Kelli, so our ride to and from the game was most enjoyable!

Our last meeting with B-W found us on the losing side of the scoreboard, so, we were hoping that our Varsity boys could pull off a win to keep our team alive in post-season play.

Two of our players were feeling the discouragement of not being able to play in this important game due to injuries...

Kyle Rose had to sit the remainder of the season on the bench after suffering a Grade III concussion during the Bloomer / Barron game a few weeks ago. The last time we played Baldwin-Woodville, Kyle ended up needing stitches in his chin!!!

Our boys played hard and stayed with B-W throughout the game, however, we always seemed to be just a few steps behind.

Spencer Johnson is almost fully recovered after tearing his ACL in a soccer game...

Our game was close throughout its entirety, and we only went two players deep on our bench. Austin and his friends that suited up for the game didn't get to see court time, but they did get to sit with the team on the bench, cheer them on and encourage their friends, and be a part of the huddle and locker room strategizing with the team!

Unfortunately, at the end of the game, the BHS Golden Boys fell short of a victory by a score of Barron: 49, B-W: 54. We had a great time watching the guys play this season, and we will sure miss the seniors on the team. Thanks for an Awesome season, Bears!
